Honestly the necrons being nigh immortal makes for hard storytelling but Infinite and Divine really plays up the daft fun you can have with the concept with two nutcases of protagonists. Twice Dead King is a great read if you want the opposite end of the spectrum which really digs deep into the grimdark aspects of the Necrons existence.
