Ram rotary shifter stuck in park

10 posts · Joined 2020. #1 · Dec 14, 2020. 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 cummins intermittently gets stuck in park. Once out of park I have no issues. Brake pedal light switch works. When it won’t go into park I don’t hear the solenoid engaging in the steering column. Sometime waiting longer with my foot on the brake pedal works.
