Both paths allow the use of manipulating enemies through fear, but the Stalker does a much better job of it. The Vigilante Talent Twisting Fear applies non-lethal damage to anyone you demoralize, at most, once per round. Overall the Investigator is similar to the rogue but fills a different niche. The rogue benefits from having as many attacks as possible while the Investigator can do very well with only one big attack. Alchemy Methodology can also be very potent. Legendary Will Saves is better than Legendary Reflex Saves IMO.
