I do have a BPS Stalker, 26" barrel, 12 ga. To me, it just feels better than the Nova. I came across it used and the price was right and it just felt more solid. I do believe that the 'basic' foundation of the gun and that of the Ithaca 37 were from JMB's design.I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid.
