After 4 it's a nightmare and not worth it, packed with NYU kids and standing room only. I wouldn't really call it a tourist trap, but it's really no ones local bar either, though I am on a first name basis with a few of the bartenders. It's worth checking out, Friday afternoons between 1-4pm are the best in my opinion.
