Of course the mighty restaurant founded in 2012 by chef Jack Riebel and the late Tim Rooney closed last year as the last standing original partner, Doug van Winkle, claimed the pandemic and civil unrest to be too much to handle. Incredible meats, extensive wine and bourbon list, and top-notch service. I highly recommend Butcher & The Boar for date night. Their green chorizo, butcher's cut, and hot brussel sprouts were among the highlights of my most recent meal. The casual atmosphere coupled with the respectful service make this one of my favorite spots in the Twin Cities. 1. TN Meat Co. “Great local butcher with friendly staff and excellent cuts of meat.
