The world famous Besses Boys' Band are a 2nd section brass band based in Manchester, North West England. We are a local band providing music services to the local community and beyond since 1943. Our varied programme of events can be found on our events page and include concerts, community events, charity events and private bookings.

The band consists of core New Orleans brass elements- trumpet, trombone, saxophone- and adds a full drum set, percussion, keyboard, bass and electric guitar, giving the band limitless options to explore new sonic territory.
